Chick-Fil-A’s biggest con is that it’s fried in peanut oil, meaning anyone with a peanut allergy can’t have it. McDonald’s biggest con is the chicken byproduct. However, since McDonald’s has a thinner crust, it is more likely to become soggy than Chick-Fil-A. Homemade is the best option and the best marinade to marinate the chicken is usually a buttermilk mixture. This allows for a crispier skin. Cane’s has the best cooked chicken, however they don’t season it at all, and some people don’t like the sauce they provide so it’s very bland at times and I recommend bringing a packet of salt with you.
Wendy’s is good, made out of 100% white meat and has a higher protein/fat ratio but is slightly softer than other meats, so some are skeptical. However Wendy’s nuggets soft texture probably means it’s the juiciest and it’s also pretty crisp!
